Awful Acting Could Not Bring this Majin Down : Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom
This is a solid game. The gameplay is fairly simplistic and straightforward, the graphics are not remarkable and the story is not incredibly compelling, but the connection between the protagonist and Majin is endearing enough. The writing, not so much for the plot exposition but talking with the Majin, is so simplistic it sounds like a librarian reading a book to children, and kind of makes you wonder about the target audience, as the puzzles and combat are clearly out of the scope of a young kid. Clever puzzle design, nice various collectables that feel like they are positively worth the effort, and it's a nice long game. Worth beating once and was worth the 20 dollars I paid for it. A nice, distracting ride for 12-15 hours or so given how much time you spend on the collectibles with a nice, clear sense of progression.
